We moved to NC from out-of-state, and Tom made the process of house hunting from afar seamless. He toured numerous houses on our behalf and sent videos of every room in each house with really helpful commentary. He is an excellent realtor, and we can't recommend him enough!

With infinite patience, Tom was able not only to do the regular job of a realtor, but to be a true friend, in the sense that he relentlessly pursued the best solution for us. He helped us settle and clarify what we want (sometimes departing from our original views), based on realistic expectations about what this market means. Not lowering our expectations, he taught us how we can adapt them to this market. He was on top in understanding what we want, in correcting some errors in our thinking about how to pursue our aims, and in finding quite many options for what we wanted. Not the least, Tom did not stop until he was sure that our final choice was exactly what we wanted, in the context of a very difficult market. In the end, our buy was $10,000 less than the bank appraisal, in a wonderful neighborhood, with a home sized as we wanted. During the process, it was essential how Tom was able not only to guide and walk with us through all the challenges. We could have bought a more expensive home, but Tom was always there to remind us about the ups and downs of our choices, and to identify any negative issues and unknowns (many times not so obvious to us) that would come with our choice. This was great because it helped us settle to realistic expectations and avoid so many risks that the regular buyer is not aware of, most of the time. His negotiation skills are brilliant, and he knows when to push and how to avoid other traps that are inherent to this process. Importantly, he will never even think to take advantage of any vulnerability of a customer. On the contrary, he will go with the best solution for his client, even if this means a small loss for him at the end of the day. What he always wants is for the client to be happy and without any buyer’s remorse. I will recommend Tom to anyone who is looking for a wonderful agent and a friend.

I really wish I could give him a few more. During my recent move to North Carolina Tom was an amazing, and attentive realtor. Due to Covid-19 the sale on my former home was delayed. His patience and ability to adjust to the market kept me calm and encouraged. Once my home was sold he and I were thrust into warp speed, having to find a home in 28 days. But within 24 hours Tom was helping me navigate the contract on a new build. His communication skills are wonderful. He took all my calls and helped me keep clear expectations.
